About

Originally from the east coast Craig made his way to California after graduating college from Old Dominion University.  Upon arrival in Los Angeles he sought out the mighty John Kricfalusi at Spumco and landed an internship in the summer of 1999 where he worked on He Hog the Atomic Pig.  Industry change forced a change in skillset to include 3D.  In 2000 Craig was fortunate enough to meet the legendary Maurice Noble and spent two days with him.  The best piece of advice Maurice had was never turn down any job regardless of if you can do it or not.  Craig took this to heart and proceeded taking any job possible whether it be 2D or 3D including animation, storyboarding, character design, background design, rigging, previz, and lighting.

After 3 years of building a portfolio and gaining experience Craig landed a job as an animator at Activision/Luxoflux working on the Shrek 2 and True Crime video games.  The company changed as they do and an opportunity to work for James Baxter Animation arose.  Craig worked for James as an in-betweener for a year as James got his studio off the ground and running.  The time there was spent on Curious George, multiple commercials, and Disney’s Enchanted.

Life again forced another change back to video games.  2006-2012 were spent working for High Impact Games and then Big Red Button working on Ratchet and Clank:Size Matters, Jak and the Daxter:The New Frontier, Secret Agent Clank, and Sonic Boom.

In April 2012 Craig received an offer to work for Blizzard Entertainment.  He currently works animating and occasionally storyboarding in the Cinematics Department.

Outside of his day job Craig has recently formed the publishing company South Swell Press which has just released its first book, The Adventures of the Mighty Nomad written by his dad and illustrated by himself.  He also can be found teaching and taking classes at various schools when time permits, oil painting the coast, continuing in his love for traditional animation, and sculpting toys.
